Hire Terms & Conditions

Please read carefully before booking. A signed waiver and contract are required to confirm your hire.

1. Booking & Deposit

A $50 deposit is required to secure your event date and will be deducted from the final balance.
Dates cannot be secured without a deposit.

2. Final Payment

The final balance must be paid before or on the day of the event via cash or bank transfer.
No equipment can be left at the venue until full payment has been received.

3. Hire Duration

Package pricing includes a 4-hour hire.

4. Delivery

Delivery, setup and pack-down are included within 20km of Brisbane 4179.
Beyond 20km, travel is charged at $0.85 per km (calculated from the 20km radius).

5. Rescheduling

The client may request to reschedule the event to a mutually agreed upon date and time, subject to Eden Laine Sensory's availability.
Any rescheduling request may be made no later than 14 days prior to the original event date, or the client may forfeit their deposit.

6. Cancellations

If the event is cancelled within 7 days of the event date, the $50 deposit is non-refundable.

7. Waiver & Contract

A waiver and contract must be signed before any equipment can be left at the venue.

8. Rules of Use

All participants must adhere to the following rules when using the equipment:

Please remove shoes before entering the soft play area
Leave keys, jewellery, eyeglasses and sharp objects outside the area
No pets are allowed in the soft play area
Food and drinks are not permitted
Children under the age of 15 must be supervised at all times
Avoid flipping, wrestling and rough behaviour
No face paint, water play or messy play in the soft play area

I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to the above terms and conditions.

Document 2

Eden Laine Sensory Contract

This agreement (the 'Contract') is entered into between Eden Laine Sensory (the 'Company', 'We' or 'Our') and the Client named below on the effective date.

Soft Play and Sensory Rules of Play

The Client and ALL participants must adhere to the following rules:

All glasses, badges, sharp instruments etc., MUST be removed before using the equipment.
Children must not wear shoes or have items in their pockets whilst using the equipment.
Children must be supervised at all times while using the soft play and/or sensory equipment.
No pets are permitted on the soft play and/or sensory equipment.
Babies and toddlers must wear a nappy or clothing at all times.
Absolutely NO FOOD or DRINKS are allowed in the soft play and/or sensory area. This includes chewing gum, lollypops and crisps.
No silly string, sparklers, bubbles, face paint, mud, messy play or glitter is allowed in or near the soft play equipment.
Children with head, neck, muscular or bone-related injuries should not be allowed inside the soft play area.
Adults (16 and above) should not stand on or sit on the soft play and/or sensory equipment.
Please return all stray balls to the ball pit at the end of play (if applicable).
The Client is responsible for providing a suitable, debris-free area for setup — not on dirt or gravel unless communicated prior.
Be mindful that surfaces can become hot in direct sunlight.
Smoking is prohibited near the soft play and/or sensory equipment.

Handling Equipment Problems

If the equipment does not function properly or the Client does not fully understand the operating instructions provided, the Client will cease any use of the equipment. The Client can call Hayley, the owner of Eden Laine Sensory, on 0433 902 022.

Rescheduling and Cancellation

The Client may request to reschedule to a mutually agreed date subject to the Company's availability. Any rescheduling request must be made no later than 14 days prior to the original event date, or the Client will forfeit the deposit. In the event of a cancellation the deposit is non-refundable.

Return of Rental Equipment

The Company retains ownership of all rental equipment. The Client shall not modify or alter it. The Client shall reimburse the full cost of repair or replacement for any damage, losses or theft that occurs while the equipment is in the Client's possession (excluding normal wear and tear).

Safety and Operating Instructions

The Client agrees to operate the equipment according to the safety and operating instructions provided. The Client acknowledges inherent risks in using soft play and/or sensory equipment and agrees to be responsible for its safe and correct use. The Client agrees not to operate the equipment in unsafe conditions.

Weather Conditions

The equipment should not be used during rain, strong winds, thunderstorms or other hazardous weather conditions. We advise that the Client has a wet weather option at the time of booking. If adverse weather is forecast, both parties may discuss rescheduling, cancellation (which may incur loss of deposit) or change of location.

Compliance with Law

The Client agrees not to use the equipment in an illegal or unsafe manner and will comply with all laws and regulations governing its use during the rental period.

Indemnification

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its employees, agents and representatives from and against all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses arising out of or in connection with the Client's use of the equipment during the rental period, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Photography

The Company reserves the right to photograph the equipment at the Client's event for promotional purposes including website, social media and flyers. The Client grants the Company the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use these photographs without compensation or approval.

This contract supersedes any oral agreements previously made. Any modifications must be made in writing and signed by both parties. If a breach occurs, the Company reserves the right to terminate the contract and all monies given are non-refundable.

Document 3

Liability Waiver

In consideration of being permitted to use the soft play and/or sensory equipment provided by Eden Laine Sensory; I hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

Assumption of Risk: I understand that the use of the soft play and/or sensory equipment involves inherent risks. This includes but is not limited to slips, falls, collisions and other injuries. I voluntarily assume all such risks and accept full responsibility for those using the equipment during the hire period.

Physical Health: I acknowledge that the participants are in good physical condition and do not have any medical conditions that may increase the risk of injury while using the soft play and/or sensory equipment.

Safety Guidelines: I agree to adhere to the safety guidelines, rules and instructions provided for the use of the soft play and/or sensory equipment. I understand that failure to adhere to these rules may result in damage or injury.

Release of Liability: I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Eden Laine Sensory, its owners, employees, agents and representatives, from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me/the participants or any of the property while using the soft play and/or sensory equipment.

Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eden Laine Sensory against any and all claims, liabilities, actions, costs, loss, damages, or injuries arising out of the use of the soft play and/or sensory equipment; except in cases of gross negligence or gross misconduct.
